No license id provided (on-prem)

Problem:

You have followed the steps correctly to activate the license but getting message in the UI that "there is no active license available"

Solution: 

This issue could be occurring if one of the on-prem components: instana-cashier have trouble talking to Postgres. If you encounter this, you can perform:

systemctl restart instana-cashier

or a run of

instana-configure

should also help.
